NetBSD and Hyper-V

by mingoto

I ran NetBSD under Microsoft Hyper-V.

I had to add “legacy network adapter” in Hyper-V settings. Then tlp0 stayed being the Network Interface.

There is a issue with a intermitent message: “tlp0: filter setup and transmit timeout”.

The is necessary to change the boot settings:

cat ./boot.cfg

menu=Boot normally:boot netbsd
menu=Boot single user:boot netbsd -s
menu=Disable ACPI:boot netbsd -2
menu=Disable ACPI and SMP:boot netbsd -12
menu=Drop to boot prompt:prompt
default=4
timeout=5

Is is because I am working without Energy Saving (ACPI) and mono-processing (SMP).
